View One of the project goals was to conduct a robust public engagement process to ensure the community has ownership in the solutions identified. To this end, the City asked for community feedback on the project using the following methods:
13 Stakeholder & Resident Interviews Part of the initial community engagement to evaluate existing conditions was through a series of interviews with stakeholders and representatives of the project’s technical advisory committee. Read the Stakeholder Outreach Findings memo.
3 Public Open Houses The City presented findings and highway improvement project options for SR 104 and SR 522 at three public Open Houses this fall—materials from these events can be found in the Project Library.
Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) The project's Technical Advisory Committee met regularly in throughout the duration of the project. The meetings brought together specialists from neighboring jurisdictions and relevant agencies to guide the plans for SR 104 and 522. Notes from TAC meetings are available in the Project Library.
